Getting to Know Your Host Volume 5 of 5: Jaye Vocque

In the past few months, it has come to the attention of the boys in Plan B Studio that some of the people out there would like to know a little bit more about their Zombie vs Shark hosts. After some discussion, the gang finally put something together and…well…you know what they say, be careful what you wish for!
Tony described the reigning King of the Podcast, Jaye Vocque, as the driving force behind Zombie vs Shark. It was Jaye who would repeatedly say, “we should do a podcast” or “this, this conversation is what we should record for a podcast.” He has a vast knowledge in many areas of pop culture (perhaps that is why is undefeated as KotP) and able to provide insightful thought on a plethora of topics. But what fans probably love most about Jaye, is his willingness to open up about himself. This episode may even go beyond what people expect, so don’t take too long to read his answers to the preliminary questions; Get to Know Your Host Vol. 5 of 5 awaits.

Do you have any nude or ‘risqué’ photos on your phone? If so, are any of them of YOU? Yes, many photos & yep at least a couple.
What is your favorite weather? Rainy
What would be your super power? Shape-shifting.

In the past few months, it has come to the attention of the boys in Plan B Studio that some of the people out there would like to know a little bit more about their Zombie vs Shark hosts. After some discussion, the gang finally put something together and…well…you know what they say, be careful what you wish for!
Doing the podcast Zombie vs Shark has been a real joy for Tony. Having always been interested in radio/television, this has allowed him to get back to his college roots. He even describes the show as cathartic at times. Also, it doesn’t hurt the fact that he gets to hang out with some of his best friends and talk about all the things they are already interested in. Tony said he will gladly keep doing the show as long as people continue to enjoy listening to it. Find out more about him in Get to Know Your Host Vol. 4 of 5 and read his answers to the preliminary questions below.

Getting to Know Your Host Volume 3 of 5: Joe Smith

In the past few months, it has come to the attention of the boys in Plan B Studio that some of the people out there would like to know a little bit more about their Zombie vs Shark hosts. After some discussion, the gang finally put something together and…well…you know what they say, be careful what you wish for!
The addition of Joe to the show was a funny one for Jaye and Tony. The guys had discussed the idea of bringing on another member to open up the areas of discussion, another opinion and someone else that can be there if either of the guys wanted/needed a break (sometimes they get sick too, contrary to what they might say they are not super men). However, since his arrival to Plan B Studio, Joe’s influence on the show has been so amazing that neither of the guys want to miss an episode. Also, Joe seems to be the one who falls ill, what with his random animal diseases. Before you tune in to Get to Know Your Host Vol. 3 of 5, check out his answers to the preliminary questions.

Do you have any nude or ‘risqué’ photos on your phone? If so, are any of them of YOU? No.
What is your favorite weather? Spring weather.
What would be your super power? Invisibility.

Getting to Know Your Host Volume 2 of 5: Intern Celeste

In the past few months, it has come to the attention of the boys in Plan B Studio that some of the people out there would like to know a little bit more about their Zombie vs Shark hosts. After some discussion, the gang finally put something together and…well…you know what they say, be careful what you wish for!
This week, we get to really know the newest member to the ZvS family. The guys really lucked out when Christina agreed to come aboard the run-away train that is Zombie vs Shark. She brings an element to the show that no other member has…intellect, knowledge, and other similarly smart related things like that. Let’s take a look at her answers to the preliminary questions only found here and not in the upcoming episode Get to Know Your Host Vol. 2 of 5.

Do you have any nude or ‘risqué’ photos on your phone? If so, are any of them of YOU? No.
What is your favorite weather? One I’m dressed right for.
What would be your super power? Flight & cock memorization apparently.

Getting to Know Your Host Volume 1 of 5: DJ MonkeySpünk

In the past few months, it has come to the attention of the boys in Plan B Studio that some of the people out there would like to know a little bit more about their Zombie vs Shark hosts. After some discussion, the gang finally put something together and…well…you know what they say, be careful what you wish for!
The man, the myth, the legend...at least around free clinics everywhere. The boys found DJ MonkeySpünk wandering the streets as an infant and decided to take him in. No matter how domesticated he seems, he always kept a tinge of feral spirit in him. It's what gives him that rambunctious attitude we know and love today. This is just the first interview, Get to Know Your Host Vol. 1 of 5, with more to come!
Finally, the guys thought it would be fun to add a few questions that were not a part of the recorded interviews, but available only for those you enjoy reading. The guys dubbed these the preliminary questions and thought they might give a slight idea of the range of questions that face them ahead.

Do you have any nude or ‘risqué’ photos on your phone? If so, are any of them of YOU? I do have nude or risqué photos on my phone, but none of me.
What is your favorite weather? My favorite weather is sunny, about 80, with a slight breeze and some clouds.
What would be your super power? My super power would be either time travel or mind control.

Don't They Make a Great Pair?

Happy Valentine's Day to all of our fans. This week, the guys wanted to extend a special greeting of appreciation and gratitude to all their fans. Also, they wanted to take advantage of the day to say that not all relationships of romantic ones. Some of the greatest relationships of all time were never romantically involved.

Ying and Yang, Good and Evil, Black and White, Chocolate and Peanut Butter...we love our combinations! Whether they compliment each other or they balance each other out, people enjoy the give and take of a duo. He's Not That Yellow allows the ZvS gang to discuss some of their favorite fictional tandems.
Why do we love these characters so much? Would they be just as endearing if they had a different partner? The gang selected a dozen fictional pairs and you the listener chimed in with some of your favorites as well, which provided for quite the list. Very diverse in genre and in type of team, not all of them are romantic pairs.

Without the Possibility of Parole!

"There's not a day goes by I don't feel regret. Not because I'm in here, because you think I should. I look back on the way I was then: a young, stupid kid who committed that terrible crime. I want to talk to him. I want to try to talk some sense to him, tell him the way things are. But I can't. That kid's long gone, and this old man is all that's left. I got to live with that. Rehabilitated? It's just a bullshit word. So you go on and stamp your form, sonny, and stop wasting my time. Because to tell you the truth, I don't give a shit."
- Red (The Shawshank Redemption)

That is how we feel after watching a particularly horrible movie, but eventually we get sucked back into watching another truly atrocious film and the cycle continues. But take our word for it, listen to Do You Have a Girlfriend? now to avoid these films, and you could instantly improve your movie watching experiences. If you have seen these films already, we feel your pain, if you still plan on watching them...then god have mercy on your souls!
