This Week...Something Different!

With this week’s episode ‘I Like Where This Is Going’ Zombie vs. Shark finally gets serious…well, mostly serious. We brought in the people who have contributed to the show in the past: DJ Monkey Spünk, Elynnes Parx and Joe Smith to participate in a round table discussion about classic literature and film.
But before you panic folks, we still have silliness and lots of fun! Believe us when we say that you have never heard a round table discussion quite like this! So enough preambles, it’s time to download this week’s episode and enjoy! As usual, feel free to get into the discussion by posting comments here or emailing us at the address below.

The greats: Snake, Harry, Samus Aran, Thyra, Link, Icarus, Duke, Fox McCloud, Mac, Sonic and of course Mario. While wielding such memorable weapons as a magical boomerang, sacred bow, fireball, pepper cellar, morphing ball, a battle axe or their own fists we guided them on their journey through levels, mazes, underworlds, space and even time all for our thrill and amusement.
We would rise and fall with their accomplishments...they would rise and fall with the speed of our thumbs and swiftness of our reactions. As we passed the hours away, saving our progress when we can; whether it be through checkpoints, hand written codes or simply pressing 'pause' then 'save' we would boast to our friends about which high levels we reached or our score ranking in the top three. We clamored around to find out if someone unlocked a secret level or learned how to defeat a certain 'boss.' Often spending our allowances or birthday money, one quarter at a time in front of the glowing screens and flashing lights of an arcade game, even if for two minutes of joy.
Yes, many have said that video games have been a bane on society...maybe it has, maybe it hasn't; but for those of us who look back on that golden age of video games fondly and as an integral part of our childhood Zombie vs. Shark presents 'Three Pixels Strong' so sit back and close your eyes as visions of scrolling screens, fantastical worlds, spinning coins, health meters and game controls with less than two buttons swirl across your mind. Oh and feel free to utter those three words that brought so much excitement, “I...got...next!”

Also, in studio with us this week was DJ Monkey Spünk! Which means we have a brand new segment of Hookers & Blow just for you folks out there...so enjoy the show!

The Drunken Episode!

So this week's episode 'I Think They're Gagging Already' is pretty much a long-winded, meandering, tangent filled conversation between two extremely well prepared fools!
We recorded an episode to showcase our new Zombie vs Shark official drinking game...available right here on this website! This episode was indeed recorded in front of a live Plan B Studio audience! Although they start to falter right around the middle of the third segment; they are re-energized in the final segment of the show and finish strong!

Feel free to play at home, but if you do decide to participate in the drinking game, please do so responsibly and safely. Also, if you come up with your own version please send that in, we would love to see it!
I would also like to say a special thank you to Mr. T for dropping by. Until next week folks!

Is It Beastiality?

Welcome back folks! Another week gone by means another episode of Zombie vs Shark is available for your enjoyment!
This week we discuss our favorite movie animals, no Eric Stoltz's character from Mask is not on the list. But if you download 'This Bear Had Range' you will find out our list of animals very quickly. I have to admit, this episode does feature a few funny tangents, but then again do you not tune in specifically for our tangents? I'd say so.
Don't forget to check out this week's music...Jaye always does a great job of hand-picking each song for every episode. Also, if you are interested in participating in next week's episode then you can post a comment here. Until next week!
