TV, My Old Babysitter

Hey, did you see the one about the guy who forgot his anniversary? He had to make his wife think he remembered and went searching across town for that one gift she was always talking about. His neighbor across the hall, who happens to be his childhood friend, was with him.  But that guy is married to the sister of the wife who thinks her husband forgot their anniversary.  But then when she comes home, she runs into the building superintendent  who was fixing the kitchen sink, and he tells her that her husband ran off earlier with some other woman.  Little did the superintendent know, that he actually overheard the husband on the phone with a sales lady at a retail shop that sold the gift that the wife always wanted. So then she gets upset and goes across the hall to see her sister and tells her all about her husbands infidelity.  The two of them decide the best way to get back at the husband is to go on a huge shopping spree at the one store across town that has all the great (and expensive) stuff the ladies love.  When they arrive at the store, the wife sees her husband talking to a pretty woman and she goes over and starts to fight with the other lady.  Only she doesn't know that that lady is just the sales girl trying to help the husband pick the present.  While the sister is looking on, her husband (remember, he is the childhood friend of the husband), walks up to her and asks what she is doing at the store.  She explains about the cheating, the plan to spend all his money and the current fight they are witnessing.  He tells her that she has the whole thing wrong and explains what is really happening. But then, security shows up and hauls of the wife who is attacking the sales girl.  Finally, the husband bails out his wife from jail and comes clean about forgetting the anniversary and how sorry he was.  The wife apologizes for thinking he would ever cheat on her and then the show ends with some quip about never forgetting this anniversary again!
Did you see that one? It was on almost every night in the 80's and 90's! Tune in now to 'Harder By the Second' to listen to the guys talk about some of their other favorite TV shows as well as hearing what the Zombie vs Shark fans like to watch.  Hurry, before the show gets canceled and replaced with a reality show about some pseudo celebrity you didn't know existed until they had a reality show about them existing...it could happen.
